Didn't know I have an interest at something

Have you heard the saying "a pen is mightier than the sword"? The Philippines celebrated the National Heroes Day yesterday (August 26, 2024) to which the people of today dedicate for the actual people who can really support the said quotation.       I am not one to say that writing is the kind of hobby that you will enjoy doing everyday. It takes too much of time, creative ideas to come up for a good article just so to make the people enjoy what they're reading, the elaboration of the single idea to convey what the writer really meant to deliver, and a spectrum of qualities to consider such as to justify the questions: is it worth my time? is it true? is there something I can learn from reading this? Writing is a tough nut to crack in all senses. This is probably the reason I purposely eradicated the idea that writing can give me something in the future. Even in simple ways like making me happy. Although I felt the people around me believed that I have ...

Growing problem in Swine Raising in Batangas

Remember that Samgyupsal schedule you are dying to go for with your friends? Wear your shoes and go now before the restaurant runs out of meat! WAAAAAAA! 😑 The African Swine Fever or ASF that has made hog raisers frown in Cavite in the 2020 pandemic time has resurged -again!    A hundred million in losses have been recorded because of the growing problem the citizens of some towns in Batangas and other parts of the Philippines are facing due to the hogs' obtained ASF. It is an issue that requires the Government's attention since 10% of the meat supply we exported out of the country came from Batangas. Especially now that the Ber months are coming, demand for meat will rise more actively to bring forth to the table in time for Christmas and New Year.

I'm a Filipino

Dolphy, Regine Velasquez, Charice Pempengco, Hidilyn Diaz, and Manny Pacquiao -you are not a Filipino if you haven't heard any of them. Well you might, but only if you are living under a rock (*smirk*).  Are you there? Hey! It's me Casey and let me take you to my world where I prefer to talk about my thoughts through this blog.      As I write this, I'm waiting for my student pass to be approved by the Singaporean Private Education Department. Admittedly, I am one of the many Filipinos trying to migrate out of the Philippines with the hope of having a better chance in life. In other words, to earn more than what I earned here. My mom was once told by her Chinese dad that the Philippines' money is soaring up to one's knee. It meant that this country I was trying to get out of had a big potential to be a powerhouse of trading and a lucrative market due to the country's undeniable vast agricultural possession. Thanks to our tropical geographical are...

Such a sha💩me

I was once a good servant of the corporate world where everything should be scheduled, in order, and placed accordingly. Now, just an insect going around with a hundred per day salary from a candy kiosk owned by my sister. Almost seven years of working as a Software Quality Tester in the field of Information Technology but now a good-for-nothing unemployed daughter of my mother living in a not-so-small town of Dasmariñas in Cavite. Yep, that's me.  I'm Casey but you can call me whatever you want. We would not see each other anyway for X and Y is difficult to find each other in the big world we're in.  I would not have regretted a bit of it, but I wish I had seen the consequences of entering a company that would significantly impact my life. Anyway, I love the seven years of working. Get to meet people, and engage in activities, projects, events, and commitments I had longed to have after schooling.  Subjectively speaking, I have lived uncommonly. I came from a bu...
