Chill chill with Halo-Halo!

When it comes to delicacies, Filipinos are very proud of our very own icy-full-of-fruits and crops mixed ingredients with sweet milk  in a cup called halo-halo.

'Halo-halo' is a flavorful sweet dessert that comes with different ingredients such as ripened bananas, ube ice cream, leche flan, garbanzos, gulaman, sago, macapuno, jackfruit, sweet potatoes, red or brown mung beans and of course shaved ice with milk, or sometimes the milk is frozen so as to replaced the original frozen water to enrich its taste. With the listed ingredients I gave to you, hesitancy of the foreign people to try this delight is almost not a surprise. However, since Philippines' tourism is always soaring, they are likely to indulge themselves and get a taste of what we serve. I'm pretty sure that many of them has a 'try a halo-halo' bulleted in the to-do list of their itinerary when coming here in our archipelagic country.

It is not only an original recipe that is a product of the Filipinos' creativity but also a representation of how we are as people, diversified by different flavors -our cultures, but united in one country - the Philippines.

Since halo-halo's ingredients varies, the taste will surely give you a roller-coaster feeling. One thing is for sure, the sweetness of how we are as Filipino people is represented by this nachtisch.

If you are reading this, I hope you have a sweet life as sweet as this dish! Adieu! ^^,
